Leon (Tim) Moseley, Sr.

Leon Moseley departed this life for his heavenly reward on December 16, 2019 in Newport News, VA. He was born to the union of Harry and Virginia Moseley on August 23, 1951. His early education was received from St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Catholic Schools in Norfolk, VA. He also attended Booker T. Washington High School up until being drafted in the United States Army in 1972.

After enlisting and completing Army basic military training at Fort Jackson, SC he was deployed to Vietnam and was later sent to Germany after an injury. After approximately 2 years of service as a Motor Transport Operator he was honorably discharged and Awarded the Military National Defense Service Metal for his faithful service to country. After returning home he had several jobs to include; City of Norfolk, Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Chesapeake, and Norfolk General Hospital. Additionally, he also owned a painting business. After finding true love in 1982 he married Daphne.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Daphne Moseley; his children, Felisha Berlin (Donald), Leon Moseley Johnson (Nekee), Matthew Hibbler, Sherina Hibbler, Sherita Lee, Marcus Spencer, Troy Smith, Leon Smith, Sherita; step-children, Mike Green, Sherita Green, & Steven Green; his siblings, Edward Moseley (Annette) of Silver Spring, MD, Robert Moseley (Anna) of Leonardtown, MD, Wilbert Moseley, William Moseley of El Paso, TX and David King; along with a host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
