My sincere condolences to Ne’Vonna and the Barksdale Family. Ne’Vonna, I grew up in Berkley (Hough Ave.) with Sudie, your mother, and her siblings. My parents, Richard and Gladys Thompson and your Great-Grand Parents (Aruthur & Viola McCoy) were the best of friends. I can remember the many prayer meetings Miss Viiola and my mother held in the home where your mother grew up. Sending my love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you during your ‘Hour of Bereavement’.

My sincerest condolences to Lenetta’s daughter and entire family. I will cherish all of the good memories that I have of us. Those moments we shared are so very priceless and I truly wish that we can go back in time, to relive those moments. Going to the Berkley food center and Overton’s on those hot days, we had so many laughs together. Rest in peace my dear friend. I will love you always Ne Ne.????
