Lenelle “Leny Moe” Taylor of Norfolk, Virginia departed this life to join his lord and savior on September 26, 2021. He was born on February 28, 1962 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Frank, Sr. and Naomi Taylor. He attended Norfolk Public School and Norfolk skills center where he received his certification in brick mason. Lenelle was a member of Faith Hope and Charity Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Alberta Turner.
If you knew Leny Moe, he always reminisced about back in the day, and gave every one that he loved a nickname. He loved to dance, and was very particular about his clothes and shoes, or as he called it his“gear”. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his only daughter Tyler “mama” Taylor and her mother Constance T. Fuller of Norfolk, Virginia. His brother Frank Taylor, Jr. of Norfolk Virginia and three sisters: Lisa T. Williams of Virginia Beach Virginia, Norvelle Burke, and Rita Church of Norfolk, Virginia. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Ernest Summerville and two sisters Luvenia Wilkerson, and Jacqueline T. Shelton.

October 2, 2021 at 11:26 amTo the family and friends of our beloved Lenny Mo, remember the good times and laughter. The moments we’ve all shared with him over the years have been a blessing. While growing up in my mother’s salon (Daisy’s) on Tinee Giant corner, I always felt safe when he and the other fellas were around. The memories are endless and I was overjoyed to see him not too long ago dressed sharp as a tack with a hat to match! For as much as we are all imperfect people, he would bring a smile to my face whenever I saw him. So be of good cheer because he is now at rest. Continue his work of spreading love to one another, May God comfort and bless each of you abundantly.

October 4, 2021 at 2:01 pmMy prayers are with the Taylor family at this time. Ecclesiastes 3:1 indicates that ” To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. When God created each of us, He took into account every hurt, injustice and loss. He also put in us the strength, fortitude and tenacity that no matter what comes against us, it will not be to much to bear. To each of you, is comforting to know that ” Earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal.”
