On August 26, 2024, An Angel descended from heaven to summon our loved one Lee E. Green Sr. to eternal life with his creator, Our Father in Heaven.
Lee Green Sr. was born on March 1, 1937, in Waynesboro, Georgia. He was the son of Mamie Jo Sapp and Isaiah Green. Lee found Christ early and attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Aliquippa, PA. Lee enlisted and served his country with pride when he joined the Army and then crossed over to the Navy which included a deployment to Vietnam where he excelled as a Machinist Mate and received numerous honors and awards. He retired after 23 years of exemplary service.

Lee was educated in the Aliquippa School system Lee furthered his studies and held a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration. The Navy relocated him and he settled his family in Portsmouth, VA. He attended New Bethel Baptist Church in Portsmouth, VA Lee was an entrepreneur, and he was a visionary, his vision came to fruition after he retired from the Navy. He was an excellent businessman who started his real estate company- ny Green and Associates Realty and earned the distinction as a member of the Million Dollar Club, he also was the owner of GreenCo Construction Company, Green Tax Service, Green, Fax Copying and printing service. In the late 70’s He also opened Truxtun Con- fectionary store for the family. Education was very important to Lee, he would always stress the importance of education so that you can own your own business and be your boss. We will miss your advice and your long talks about life. Your work speaks for itself, you walked your last plank and heard the final piping call for Jesus.
Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Jacqueline B. Green, mother Mamie Jo Sapp Jones, and Father Isaiah Green, 2 brothers Gregory Jones, George Owens, 1 sister Regina Owens, 2 daughters Teresa Green and Ira Turner, sister in law Shelly Jones, brother in law Robert Elmore
Lee leaves to cherish her memories son Lee Green (Sharon) Chesapeake VA, daughters Ellen Green Chesapeake, VA, Chevella Morgan (Devon); 2 step sons Bernard Jeffery Chesapeake, and Brent Jeffery New York 14 grandchildren, Mark, Lashonda, Lee, Leonard, Teriea, Nathaniel, Terrell, Jamal, Andrew, Devon, Devontae, Shayla, Shauna, Velvet 16 great grandchildren, LeSean, Cariee, Carlee, Carmen, Aiyah, Makyla, Nathaniel Jr., Josiah, Lanae, Cameron, Isaiah, Noah, Nova, Miloni, Milo, 6 sisters Louise Elmore Aliquippa PA, Donna Joyner (Donald) Oxon Hill MD, Sandra Kelley Portsmouth VA, Brenda Allen (David) Chesapeake, VA, Frankie Shuler Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Rebecca Williams Ft.
