Laura Ann Wiggins was born November 30, 1979 in Portsmouth Hospital of Portsmouth, VA to
Ella Wiggins and Curtis Johnson. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School. After high school she furthered her education, and received a nursing certification, which allowed her to follow her passion-caring for others. She was employed at Beverly Manor Nursing Home for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Johnson; Aunt, Ida Barnes; uncle, Truman, and Uncle Ronnie Wiggins. She leaves in memory three children, Takeisha Wiggins, Antonio Wiggins, and London Epperson; two grandchildren, Torion Wiggins and Ava Holden; her mother, Ella Johnson; Devoted grandmother Elsie Wiggins; siblings, Curtis Johnson(Tara), Kevin Johnson, Shawn Johnson, and Big sister, Lynn Harris; Aunts, Annie Wiggins, Brenda Wiggins, and Linda Winfield(Alton); uncles,Michael Wiggins and Jerry Wiggins(Rhonda); two nephews, Xavier Williams and D’Vontae Jones; a host of cousins, that viewed Laura as their Big Sister.
Special
recognition goes out to her close friends Andrea, Big Shawn, and A.J. Laura will truly be missed , but never forgotten.
