La'Syiah Cimone Baxter

Sunrise: November 8, 2004

Sunset: May 10, 2020

La’Syiah Cimone Onyiea Baxter was born November 8, 2004 in Norfolk, VA. She was a very happy, funny, and energetic young lady with a bright future ahead of her. Sadly, on May 10, 2020 at the young age of 15 La’Syiah was taken away from us and went home to be with the Lord.
La’Syiah was raised in the Norview area of Norfolk. She recently graduated from Norview Middle School, where she made most of her friends, who then became like family. She was currently a freshman at Maury High School. La’Syiah was the life of the party. She was known for having a kind fun-loving spirit. She loved to dance and rap. She was just a ray of sunshine and would crack jokes just to see you smile. If she wasn’t eating, she was thinking about eating and you better have some hot sauce. The baby of five kids, La’Syiah was fearless and nobody would dare try her. Although she had one of the worst attitudes anyone has ever seen, she had a heart of gold and loved you with every drop. She was very outgoing and stylish. She had to have them edges laid. She loved animals especially her fur brother (the family dog), Esco.
La’Syiah leaves all of her wonderful memories to be cherished by her mother, Janet Lewis; father, Percell Baxter; stepfather, DeAndre Moore; sister/best friend Tylea Baxter; brothers, Tae’Jahon, Lewis Theontae Baxter and Le’Saun Baxter; half-brother, Jordan; half-sisters, Lyric, Camani, and Camya; grandparents, Barbara and Reginal Lewis, Micheal Carter, Percell and Marietta Holley; uncles, Reynaurd, Darius and Micheal; aunts, Shanita and Lavonne; God-mother, Alexis Whitaker; God-sister, Daviona; God-brothers, Romelv and Myles. She also leaves behind a host of loving family members and friends.
