Larry B. Allen

On Monday, January 7, 2019 Larry Bernard Allen entered eternal rest.  Larry was born on February 4, 1949 in Norfolk, VA to Frederick and Celeste Allen.
Larry attended Norfolk Public Schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. After graduating he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and retired with an honorable discharge. He was predeceased in death by his daughter, Sherelda Allen; sisters, Linda Allen, Regina Williams and Betty; brother, Fred Allen.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory: three sons, Anthony J. Allen, Larry B. Allen and Alex Foreman of Hampton, VA; two daughters, Larquisha Sutton of Atlanta, GA, and Alexis Foreman of Hampton, VA; significant other, Alice Foreman of Hampton, VA; three brothers, Timothy Robinson, Donald Allen both of Norfolk, VA and William Allen of GA; four sisters, Brenda, Lupina, Sherrell, and Juanita; eight grandchilldren; five great grandchildren; special niece, Taneka and nephew, Ronyae; a special long time friend, Bob Speller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

    While growing up to see you serving as A Marine you did your duty to serve and we thank you for your service. We bless the family left behind for you Repented of any sins and your purpose here on this side to served and Gods a forgiving God a loving God, so my cousin take your rest, join the Clouds of Witnesses and Dont Over talk nobody like you do or think you Know it All like you do but I know you were trying to teach us the Game called Life, you lived it and IThank you for Being my cousin our uncle and our friend .Much Love cousin

    Sorry for the loss of your loved one. I have found this scripture to be most comforting. I hope this will bring comfort to you as it has to me. Isaiah 25:8- He will swallow up death forever.

    To the Allen Family: I remember Larry as being a quiet guy. He smiled a lot and was a likeable friend. May he rest with Jesus. Prayers of strength for the family.

    I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43.     May my dad rest in peace he was only with me for 9 to 10 years and he had some nice friends and I’m glad he did he was a nice person,
