Kyron Edwards affectionately known as Ky was born July 29, 2005, he departed this earthly life on July 15, 2024.
Kyron attended Kings Fork High School in Suffolk, VA where he was introduced to the Master Barber program at the College and Career Academy at Pruden. Although he loved it, we never saw any proof of his skills of cutting anyone’s hair or his own for that matter, just tiktok videos, dancing or horse playing with students in the lab. Kyron later transferred to Penn Foster.
Kyron loved riding dirt bikes, making music, swimming, and any project he could use a power tool on, and more recently driving everyone around. He never sat down. He enjoyed spending time with family whether it was taking road trips, flights, water parks, fishing and crabbing, sailing on cruise ships, dining together, making funny videos, or pranking people. He was bound to make you laugh by being his naturally goofy self and never taking things serious even when getting scolded he would make a joke to get out of it. Kyron had a great love for pets especially dogs and finally got the chance to own one just to return it 24 hours later because the dog wanted attention, go figure. Kyron had just started his first day as an equipment operator at QVC and was awaiting his passport for the Merchant Marines, which came 5 days after his departure. He was excited about starting a new chapter in his life.
Kyron was predeceased by grandfather, Alphonso Edwards.
He was survived by his parents, Tameka Edwards and Adrienne Cross; brothers, Te’jon Edwards and Aiden Cross; grandparents, Candice Edwards, Bertina Cross, and Alvin Cross. Kyron had a strong support system to include uncles Alfonza Jones, Deangelo Jones, Alston Riddick, and Alvin Hoffler; Aunts Latoya Johnson and Natasha Curry; Bonus parents and a host of family members, coworkers, and friends.
Our motto was always, “When God Blesses You, Reach Back And Help At Least One Person.” He honored that statement by telling every person “My mom can get you a job” like mom ran a hiring service. He wanted his friends to be successful. He had a huge heart and was willing to help anyone in need. If you ever ran into him he would always end his conversations with I love you, Stay safe. It gives us great pleasure knowing Kyron’s affectionate side was adopted by so many youth and to hear the words “I love you” from so many of them to one another comforts us knowing that his purpose was fulfilled. So we will leave you with this … “We Love You, Stay Safe.”

Adding to all the good things that were said about Kyron ,indeed he was full of love and very respectful. When I tell you his baby face and them darn demples would convince you the sky is red if he said so…Kyron was my “go get “person..now that he drove..
I would say Kyron go to the store, kyron go get some waters n sodas out the garage .he say I got u gramms…Kyron definitely loved his grandparents…he’d do anything for them..I know me n hubby worried him sometimes but he didn’t mind as long as he could get in that car n go…Kyron wore the car out and granda wasted no time fixing it..I think the most I worried him was telling to slow down ,don’t go through the red lights don’t ever go through the tunnel..I’m writing so much cus I’m venting right now, hurting now..Kyron had a great relationship with his grandparents ,we loved him so much, not only do we miss him ,his 7yr old brother Aiden Cross misses him as well, Kyron would wrestle with him n get him in trouble, but they both got fusses at .This is a very hard spill to swallow but with the strength of the Lord ,I’ll make it..
Love you to the moon and back !!🩷❤️🩵

Missing You Like Crazy!!😒😭
Why did you have to leave so soon ? I needed you to do some things for me ..like put the trash out clean the tub after you shower, stop messing with your brother then act as if you did nothing, put your clothes away when I folded them or ride with me somewhere even when you didn’t want to! so it’s gon be sad not telling or asking you those things ..so tell me ..what am I going to do? My heart is so broken,we had great times laughing about things only you n I know…one more thing ..your brother looks in my phone and says he’s gon call you in heaven 🥰..he misses you so much🥲 the day you left to go home ,you left yo Tommy boxers here and he put them on and sent you a tex to show you he had them but you never responded but he’s ok with it so don’t feel bad u know where they are now…missing the talks we had ,I cry a lot because I hurt so bad..know body knows…I think you do..tho

July 24, 2024 at 12:38 pmWe’re gonna miss you, lil bro. There was so many things we could’ve done together, most of those times I put days off was to spend time with you and Aiden. I’m sorry you had to leave so soon, I’m sorry I didn’t get in contact with you that much. I truly apologize for everything that has happened that led up to this very moment. You didn’t deserve this fate, no one does. Let God work his magic. I love you, my brother, and may you have a nice eternal rest. I can assure you the light will shine on the both of us once again.

July 29, 2024 at 8:06 amNephew…. This is hard. I love you so much and I know how much you loved me. I will continue to cherish every memory I had with you as they all were positive. Just hearing stories from others about their encounters with you melts my heart. You were so funny, respectful, and encouraging. I know you and my Dad (your grandad) are probably doing karaoke and entertaining heaven. I miss you so much.
