The Smith Family (Trina, Andre, Payton, and Prentice) says

Kylita is my first cousin, but i haven’t seen her in years outside of Facebook. I had seen and talked to Johnny and Dree, but, for whatever reason, I would always miss Kylita…life gets in the way. We even exchanged notes about having a Keel family reunion, thinking we had all the time in the world. But time waits for no one. We are so very sad about Kylita leaving us WAY too soon…in our humanity we can’t wrap our minds around this loss. But God’s ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts…we just have to continue to trust him even when we don’t understand and take comfort in knowing she hurts no more, she is in perfect peace, even as we mourn her absence from the earth. My fervent prayers go out to Aunt Verlene, Cousins Johnny and Andree and their families, all of Kylita’s children, and all of the cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and family that are hurting right now. Lean on the Lord, he is an ever present help in our time of trouble and need. Much love. <3
