Kristy Shevelle Williams

Sunrise: February 1, 1982

Sunset: May 27, 2021
Kristy Shevelle Williams was born February 1, 1982 to Ralette Williams-Robinson and Jimmy Langley. Kristy was very talented and got her spark to shine in the Norfolk Public School System. Kristy was very ambitious, hard working, and a jack of all trades. She always wanted to act and sing. Which lead her to play drums and music. If you knew her then you know her family was everything to her. She had a gentle heart and kind spirit. She would challenge your spirit as well. Kristy is predeceased by parental grandmother Alice Langley and grandfather, James Langley and maternal great grandmother, Lucy Williams and maternal grandfather, Freel Lee Spady. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Monique, Darione, Antonio and DJ. Her loving parents, Ralette Williams-Robinson (Greg) and Jimmy Langley (Lisa). Her brothers and sisters, Vivette Williams, Montez Robinson (Krystal), Chris, Andrew, Travis, Jamar, Jeremy, and Jilisa Babb, Steven Langley, Kennis Wallace and Kenneth Wilkins; maternal grandmother, Vivian Poole (Ellery); her special squad, Carlos, Jasmine, Da’Kari “Kaka,” James “Buggy Buggy” and Sydney; her granddaughter and bestfriend, Ma’Lanie and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend, Damon L. Rodgers.
“As she would say the party is here now let’s  celebrate her life.”

Growing up with Kristy was so much fun, and she will be missed. We saw each other in passing before COVID hit, and it felt so good to reminisce on our childhood. Sending prayers, strength, and love to the family right now. Love, cousin Shannon
