Kobi Devon Jefferson

Sunrise: September 23, 2000

Sunset: May 6, 2021

Kobi Devon Jefferson was born on September 23, 2000 in Richmond, VA and passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2021 in Norfolk, VA at the age 20.

A deeply loved son, grandson, cousin, uncle and friend, Kobi left a big impact on those around him with his vivacious personality and will be missed tremendously. He received his GED from Granby High School. Outside of school, however, Kobi loved to have a good time. He was a self-made make-up artist (MUA) and loved to make himself and others look good through his love of fashion, doing hair and doing nails —  and he was ALWAYS the best looking in the room! He also enjoyed spending time and cracking jokes with family, going on trips, shopping, and cutting up with his besties.
He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Felisa Salazar; grandfather Rudolph Jefferson and younger brother Kristofer Jefferson. He is survived by his mother Ainalee Lee; siblings Kenneth D. Jefferson Jr., Keyvon J. Jefferson, Kevin D. Jefferson, Khory Jefferson, Kailub Jefferson, Ainajah Jefferson, Jasmine Eaton and Keisha Eaton;  bonus dad Bear and bonus mom Matasha Eaton; grandparents Angelita Williams and bonus grandfather Kerry Williams, Sr.; favorite aunt Kerrilyn “Toni” Williams; uncles Rudy Jefferson, Jerome “Yogi” Lee, Kerry Williams, Jr. (“Jasmine Rice”) and Mr. Kevin. He left behind a host of cousins including favorite cousins Autumn Hoges, Faith Williams, Christian Williams, Angeleena Lee, Jessica Salazar and Rachel Salazar; nieces and nephews Love Eaton, Ju’Corey Fleming and Liam; and best friends Tiffany Knight, Wyasia Hollowell and Sharrise Gatson.
The world is a sadder place without your laughter in it. You will live on forever in our hearts, Kobi D.
