Kevin James Wood  passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Cypress, Texas. Kevin was born  to the parents  of Willie and Phyllis of  Norfolk Virginia. Kevin graduated  High School in Norfolk, Virginia.  He also completed training for welding ll at Norfolk Technical Vocational Center. Kevin enlisted into the US Navy and served four years. He attended The Ocean Corporations earning his diploma for offshore oilfield diver.  Kevin operated his own business in Houston, Texas which include home water treatment systems, drainage systems finally  home drinking water systems.

He is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Pattie and their five children, Ceacellia, Marquise, Ketwon, Hadija and Jaylon his twin grandsons Jaiden and Jamal. In addition, Kevin is survived by his parents Willie and Phyllis of Virginia,  brothers Sherman(Tonya) and Willie of Maryland, Donnell of Ohio and  sisters Phyllis, Felicia, Rhonda(Ralph) and Denise of Virginia.  Uncle Maurice (Jackie), Aunts Marion (Lewis) and Muriel, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kevin’s in-laws of Texas Lavonne mother in- law, brother in-laws Fitzsgerald, Mark (Melissa), Rocky (Tashia) and sister in-laws Joyce (George) and Pamela (John).

Kevin is preceded in death by grandparents, his brothers Linwood, Carlton and Dwayne and granddaughters twins Crystal & Alazhay and Azalea.
