Kevin Bernard Simmons, Sr.

Sunrise: October 8, 1974

Sunset: June 21, 2025

With deep love and heartfelt remembrance, we celebrate the life of Kevin Bernard Simmons, who peacefully completed his earthly journey on June 21, 2025, at the age of 50. Throughout his life, Kevin was known for his unwavering integrity, fierce loyalty, and a heart that overflowed with love.

Kevin was a natural protector — someone you could always count on to listen, to guide, and to stand beside you in any season. He cared deeply for his family and friends and lived by his word. His presence brought steadiness during life’s storms and joy in the quiet moments of connection.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted fiancée, Nicole Lewis, and his beloved children: Kyle, Keonte, Gabby, and Cameron. He is also survived by his loving parents, Gloria and Tom (and his wife Deb), his sister Kim, and his cherished nephew Kenon, along with many extended family members and dear friends who were touched by his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as his son, Kevin Jr.

Though Kevin has transitioned into eternal rest, the legacy he leaves behind — of truth, loyalty, and love — will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)

Soror Monica Ford-Little – The bond between a sister and brother is unique. Even when you disagree, no one else better say something bad about the other sibling. Sands, we have this commonality and my heart goes out to you and your family for this significant loss. Please call on me if ever you need to talk. With love, Monica
