Kerry Gerald Hazer passed away October 14, 2019 at the age of 57. He would like you to know that his work is done here. He received a call for an offer he couldn’t refuse for an appointment for which he will be returning. His last task was to gather riends and family for his final reunion with people that he had not seen in years. This mission takes him to a wonderful place, where pain and suffering is unheard of, and another reunion with family and friends who will be waiting on it’s final resting place. He asked that we celebrate his mission here, which now has been completed . We want to let him know that he did a great job here. We wish him a safe journey. We will remember his smile and energy for his joy of life . He was a hard worker at U. S. Gypsum in Berkley and a good student at Lake Taylor High.
Kerry is survived by two brothers, Norman and Steven; sister, Bridget Hazer; nieces, Sherita Vincent and Keyonna Gray; four nephews, Marcus, Jamael, Jayden Hazer and Kevon Wood. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heartfelt forms. There are too many people to name individually. The urn that Kerry earthly remains will be held in nicely sums up in one sentence how fondly he will be remembered.
