Kerry Cornelius Dixon also known as Peanut or KD was born 11:35 a.m. on December 22,1969 and passed away November 7,2020. He was born to Rhonda Dixon-Douglass and Cornelius E Dawyer. Kerry was so full of life and love. He loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Kerry attended Norfolk Public Schools and also attended Job Corp in his early life. He was employed with the City of Norfolk and other various jobs.

Kerry was predeceased by his son, Aaron Perry; maternal grandmother, Delores Dixon; paternal grandparents, Lee and
Nancy Sawyer. Kerry is survived by his son, Robert D. McCoy (Veronica) of Norfolk, VA; daughter, Kimya T. Dixon of Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren, Aaryana Beasley, Tatiana McCoy, Serenity Taylor, Nylah Sayles, Zy’mere Williams, Rahmid McCoy, Ezriel McCoy; mother, Rhonda Dixon-Douglass (Ralph); father, Cornelius E. Sawyer (Tine); sisters, Libra Dixon Moore (Michael), Bridgitte F. Dixon, Vanessa Fleming (Riney), Danielle Lawson all of Norfolk, VA; brother, Romono Dixon (Marketta); grandparents, Willie J. Dixon, Sr. of Chesapeake, VA, Phyllis Dixon of Norfolk, VA; aunts, Denise Dixon of Norfolk, VA, Felecia Wood of Chesapeake, VA, Teresa Cowell of Chesapeake, VA, Sharon Wade (Cliff) of Florida; uncles, Willie Dixon, Jr. of
