On Sunday, December 26, 2021 our beloved husband and father, Kenneth Lee Parker entered into eternal rest. “KP,” as he was affectionately called, was born in Norfolk VA on February 1, 1965 to the late Jean Parker Jones. Kenneth was educated in Norfolk Public School. KP has never met a stranger. He was always giving and left a lasting impression wherever he went. KP loved his family and is often called “Park Place Legend” by many. KP is well known to the 757 Community. He has helped many in their time of need. For those of you who knew KP, he had a way with his words that would make your head spin. But he also knew the art of making you laugh. He lived his life the way he saw fit and he danced to the beat of his own drum. He was one that was loved by many. He totally represented Park Place for his 56 years of life.
KP leaves to cherish his loving wife, Margot Wilson-Parker; his nine children, Lashonda Wilson (Joseph), Kenneth Jones (Sabrina), Kenneth Parker, Jr., Kenisha Harris, Destanie Williams, Keandra Parker, Kaylee Hardy, Karnen Hardy and Diamond Lopez; three siblings, Jonita Wiggins (Henry), Floyd Tharp (Tracey Davis), and Shenia Tharp (Bryant Dildy); five grandchildren, Raphel Byrd, Branca Byrd, Kaylee Jones, Kemyah Burns and Jashow Tate; one great grandchild, Rylie Byrd; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
