Kenneth Gore, Jr. affectionately known as “Lil Kenny” was born January 11, 1985 Portsmouth, VA and left us unexpectedly August 21, 2020 in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. He was the son of devoted father Kenneth Eugene Gore, Sr. of Suffolk and loving mother Betty Jean Faircloth of Portsmouth, VA.

He received his education at the Virginia School of the Deaf and Blind in Hampton, VA and proudly graduated in June 2007. A dedicated worker he was to be commended for his 10 years of continuous employment with Olive Garden in Chesapeake, VA before his move to Pennsylvania. He met and married Aretha Pitters of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania and to Kenneth will be remembered for his warm personality, infections smile, love of family and his ability to make friends easily.

He was predeceased by his paternal great-grand parents, Dr. Wilbert and Vivian Gore; paternal grandmother, Delores Gore; maternal grandparents, Clifton, and Delores Faircloth; niece, Monaisa Nixon and nephew, Demont’a Faircloth. He leaves to cherish his memories; Aretha (wife); Kayden Gore (Son) of Pennsylvania; Kenneth Gore, Sr. (father); Betty Faircloth (Mother);
Mona Faircloth and Roxanne Faircloth (sisters) of Portsmouth, VA; Godmother Kelly White Williams; special aunt, Carolyn Burns; Torino Nixon Jr., Terron Smith Jr., King Lawrence (nephews); Nyaiza and Ayonna Faircloth (nieces); Nikki Jackson (special family friend) and uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

I worked in the boys dorm as a house keeper he was always with smiles and a kind heart .Family keep the Faith God got it all in control.

    So, so sorry for your loss! Kenny was my student at VSDB-Hampton and I will always remember his sweet, sweet spirit! And I remember how his dad and granddad were always there for him, supporting him. So sad that we lost Kenny way too soon!
