Kenneth Demitrius Midgette left his earthly home suddenly on May 1, 2020. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Henry Douglas and Rosa Haskins and his maternal grandparents, George and Beulah Williams. Left to mourn his passing are his parents, Kenneth and Sharon Midgette; sister, Sharmaine Edwards (Christopher); his adorable and precious son, Kentrail Platt; aunts, Patricia Nichols (Frank), Delores Curry, Michele Donaldson (Lavern), Gwendell Cargill-Brice (Allen) and Pamela Smith (Leroy); uncles, Douglas Midgette, George A. Williams, Terry Williams and Barry Williams (India); nieces, Crystal, Breana and Arica; nephew, Christopher C. Edwards and a host of relatives and friends.
Kenny loved his family and only spoke kind words of them with his infectious smile. A group that was very special to him were his Da Island friends. To name a view; Anthony Cargrill, Billy, Malcom, Artiff and Mike Mike. If your name was not listed we have you in our hearts.
Kenny attended Lake Taylor Middle School and Booker T. Washington High School. Kenny was employed with Chesapeake Bay Steel and Joe’s Crab Shack, which was his favorite employment until his health started to fail.
A sweet spirit that will truly be missed. He will forever be in our hearts.
