On Tuesday, March 5, 2019 God called Kathy L. Brown home.  She was born July 12, 1958 in Newton, Mississippi, the daughter of Cleophas Moore, Sr. and Bernice Hosey Moore. She grew up in Portsmouth and attended Manor High School.  She was a member of Healing Temple Church.

She was recently predeceased by her sister Ronda Moore; and brothers Gregory Moore, Cleophas Moore, Jr. and Limmie Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Tureka Moore and LaShanya Brown; one sister Linda Williams (Walter); former spouse Terry Brown; dear aunt Alice Hosey; and special cousin Elias Moore.  She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Doris Brown; two sisters-in-law Paula Brown and Vivian Brown; nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

    I’m still in shock. Our favorite aunt Kathy has gone on to her reward. Praying God’s peace over Shawnya, Trixie, and my Moma. God is still good. We have to trust Him and believe that he will see us through this difficult time. ??
