On May 17, 2020, God sent his angels down and called Julia Knight home. Julia was born July 1, 1932 in Princess Anne County, VA. She was the last-born child of Louise P. and Benjamin Knight. Julia professed her belief in Christ and
was a member of St. John AME Church, Virginia Beach, VA. Julia was educated in the Virginia Beach Public School
System. She retired after thirty-seven years of service with Norfolk Public School. She took pleasure in playing BINGO
and going to church with Rosa Jane, her best friend.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life two children, Rickey Donnell Knight and Earline Deloris Knight-
Wilson, three grandchildren, Eric Parham, Salah AL Din Shareef, and Benjamin Wilson and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends, whom she loved and had no problem saying what she had to say.

May 23, 2020 at 10:55 amI will truly miss Mrs. Julia Knight. I will miss her jokes, laughter and being around me and my family. She often attended our family & church events. She was onw of my mom and my deceased grandmother’s (Ethelene Williams) best friend for over 54 years or longer. There will never be anyone else to fill her shoes. Now she walks in her heavenly shoes. I will miss her very much but GOD needed her more. Ricky, Earlean & the entire Knight family, my heart and prayer is with you on this day.
