Juanita Anderson, or as everyone called her grandma, was an amazing spirit. She loved many things in life; her family, crafts, and Lays potato chips. Juanita was a devout Jehovah’s Witness always willing to help anyone in a time of need.
Often described as caring, compassionate, creative, outspoken, and loving, she was always willing to give advice even on her worst days. With a unique style, she bravely fought cancer, kidney failure, and other things all with a bright.
Smile on her face. She was most proud of her family. Her two sons Anthony and Chip worked hard in life and gave her many grandkids and great-grandkids who were her pride and joy to the very end. Coming from New York where she spent most of her life to Virginia.
It was one of her biggest decisions in life. Here she met many friends who she would later call family, all of which forever would stand by her side.
The family would like to thank all of the healthcare professionals who always helped her, Sandra Atkins, Charletta Rice, and Hollyn F. Rodgers. Charletta always spent time talking with her even in her darkest moments, and Sandra checked on her no matter the circumstance.
Whether it be through the rain or snow, Ms. Hollyn cooked her favorite Sunday Meals the highlight of her week.
We also wanted to thank all of her friends who made her journey through life less lonely.
