Joyce Elizabeth Rustin, 76 of Norfolk Virginia peacefully passed away July 10, 2020 at her home with family at her side. Joyce was born April 4, 1944 to the late Velma Mae Stewart in Brooklyn, New York but eventually moved to Norfolk, Virginia. There she would continue to raise her 3 children with her late husband Leonard RustinJoyce work as a cook for different restaurants to support her family and loved what she did. Joyce is survived by two children: David R Stewart and Yolanda Otay; 10 grandchildren: Anthony Otey, Annette Otey, Arnesia Otey, David L. Stewart, Jovaughn Baker, Denzel Stewart, Rayette Rustin, Bobby Rustin, Linnette Hines, and Janet Hines; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Joyce is also survived by her brother Anthony Stewart, sisters Shirley Logan, Diane Petaway and her significant other Chester Budd. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lundrè A. Rustin. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

    To the Family of Ms Joyce. I meet your loved one through Shelia her neighbor for many years. She was always nice and had a smile To give.
