   Ms. Johnnie Mae was always full of joy and laughter. She treated me like her daughter. We shared some awesome moments and she’ll be dearly missed. ❤️

   Ms. Johnnie Mae was one of my favorite ladies to bring to Jencare. There wasn’t a ride we shared that wasn’t full of laughter. I will miss those times we had. 💜 She brought joy to the world.

   I sadly only recently learned of Johnnie Mae’s passing; she was a friend of my Mother’s. They were unlikely friends, from two very different backgrounds, brought together by life’s strange coincidences. Their relationship was a reminder that at the end of the day, we are all the same. We are people that thrive and struggle, want to love, and be loved. My Mom passed 3 years before Ms. Johnnie Mae, but her and I remained friends, even just over phone. She reminded me of the best of my Mom. I hadn’t heard from her in awhile, and was scared because my heart told me she had passed. Today I had the courage to find out. Thank you for your kindness Johnnie Mae, and never forgetting about me or my Mom. You were a bright star in this world, and will be missed so much.
