John Shaw peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, October 4,2019. John was born on January 29,1955 and was
the youngest child born to the late Grace Shaw. John was a faithful member of New Beginning Apostle Church for six years. He worked for Defense Logistics Agency for over fifteen years where he retired when he became ill. John lived a full life with a big sense of humor. His favorite saying was “ I love you and there is nothing you can do about it.” John is survived by two brothers, William (Jeanette) Gatling, Ralph ( Toledo) Shaw.; four children Arica Shaw, John Shaw III, Reginald Wilson, and Simone (William) Shaw. Eight grandchildren, Ny’Zaiah, Tania, Kayla, Reginal Jr, Kymya, Tatum, Payton, and Kingston. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

    It is with a heavy heart that we (Williams Family) send our prayers and condolence to the family. John was a wonderful friend to me and my family. I will miss his contagious smile and jokes. May each of you hold on to all the love, laughter and memories of John to sustain each of you for the days and nights ahead. Just know that God and John is watching over all of us now.
