Jerry Wynn, Sr. son of the late Jeremiah Wynn and Janie Wynn was born on October 29, 1944 om Bertie County, North Carolina. He departed his life from this earthly world on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 12pm at Sentara Hospice House Virginia Beach, VA. He attended school in Bertie County, then he moved to Virginia to better his life further, he worked the Berkley
Machinery for 37 years, then he retired from there and started working at the Pancake House in Norfolk, VA until his health started failing. He recently joined and became a member of Faith Deliverance Church of God in Christ, where he enjoyed going to receive a word from on high. He was a person that loved his family and friends very much and would do whatever to help
anyone in need. He also loved to eat his wife’s cooking.

He is preceded in death by his father Jeremiah Wynn, mother Janie Wynn; three brothers, Hillus Wynn, Larry Wynn, Louis Wynn; one sister, Ethel M. Edwards and one grandson, Ivan J. Coulton. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beautiful wife
Deborah Wynn of 54 years; four daughters, Sherrie Privott (George), Christy Wynn, Yolanda Wynn (Antwun), Theresa Williams all of Ahoskie, NC; two sons, Jerry Wynn, Jr. (Katherine) and Calvin Clay (Alethia) of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Yvonne Wynn and Janie Holloman of Aulander, NC; one aunt, Hazel Wynn of Ahoskie, NC. He also leaves to cherish his memories, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
