To my dear Family,
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. I am saddened about Jerry’s passing, but I have peace knowing that he is no longer struggling. I am thankful for the time that I had to know this amazing man from childhood to adulthood.
I am also thankful that I was able to see his face one last time on Tuesday, October 2, and regret not catching up to him to at least give him a hug. However, the Lord led me in prayer on that corner of Court and London Blvd to pray for his peace, his prosperity, and his healing.
To all family, friends, and others who knew him, my hope is that we will always remember him with fondness and will celebrate his life, talents, and achievements with gratitude and pride.
Love you all,
Linwood and Vanessa Joyner Richardson and family
My comdolences to the family. Jerry had a kind and generous spirit. Jerry was always gracious and polite in his interactions with others. I found out that he was a phenomenal athlete but you would never know it from his humble spirit
Family, Zion’ Baptist
Church’s Drop-In minstry volunteers are praying for you. Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life he that believe in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believe in me shall never die.Do you believe this? It waa a BLESSING to know Jerry and May his soul rest in Peace.
