Jeffrey Allen Norfleet 51, known to many as “Jeff” was born, July 20, 1968. He entered enteral rest on Sunday morning, January 26, 2020 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Hospital. He was born in Tarboro, North Carolina to the late Dorothy Marie Norfleet and Charlie Eugene Harper, Sr. He was the baby boy of 7 children. He was raised and educated in Chesapeake, VA, where he attended Chesapeake Public Schools. He was employed by Farm Fresh in Virginia Beach for several years until his health started to decline.
Jeffrey was saved and he loved God and his family. He was a loving father, friend, protector, provider, cook and an awesome Papa. Jeffrey was an example to many of what a true fighter was. Jeffrey was preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Marie Norfleet, his father, Charlie Eugene Harper, Sr. Jeffrey is survived by his five children, Keshana Sessoms of Portsmouth, VA, Capri Moore (Kwavone), Dioncencia Norfleet-Davis, Jarneisa Norfleet and Antwoin Floyd-Norfleet of Chesapeake, VA; a mother figure, Carolyn L. Holmes; two borthers, Marshall Norfleet (Charleen) of Vidalia, GA and Vernon Norfleet (Dalphine) of Portsmouth, VA; five sisters, Saundra Biggs, Suzette Flowers, Linda Norfleet and Malissa Norfleet all of Chesapeake, VA, Sheila Norfleet of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Kaisyn Moore, Niylae Moore, Aniya Groover, Ryan Haskins, Jr., Aria Miller, Kyng Bennett and Erza Thomas; fiancé, Charline Jones White; best friend, LaShawna D. Harris and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, special sons, special daughters and extended family and friends. Jeffrey will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
