Mr. Jeffrey Torres Boone of the 1100 block of Wilcox Ave went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2024 at home. Jeffrey T. Boone was born on November 29, 1961 in Portsmouth General Hospital to the late Charlie L. Boone, Sr. and Freda M. Boone.

Jeffrey’s nickname was “Top Dog”, he was a diehard San Francisco 49’er’s Fan to the heart. His second love was carpentry and building. He was employed with Ace Sheet Metal (Insulator), First Marine, APS (Security), Long Triangle Maintenance and Gwaltney, Smithfield, VA.

He enjoyed playing dominos, cards, fishing, crabbing, golf, gardening, chess and loved watching westerns.

Jeffrey was very supportive of his sister, Apostle Venita B. Walden and Word of Life Christian Center.

Jeffrey is predeceased by his wife, Beverly Boone; his father and mother, Charlie Lee Boone, Sr. and Freda M. Boone.

Jeffrey leaves to cherish is memories three sisters, Apostle Venita B. Walden (Michael), Pamela J. Walden (Wayne), Kim S. Eley (Larry); one brother, Charlie Lee Boone, Jr (Charlene); one daughter, Jenelle,  two sons, Skylar and Terell, special friend, William Blow, Jr; two aunts, Mamie J. Bond (Philadelphia, PA), Marilyn Hardy (Vacaville, CA); nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
