On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, our beloved Mom, Jean Teresa Parker Jones entered eternal rest. She was born in Norfolk, VA, May 6, 1948 to the late Mary Parker Jones and Randolph Fitchett. She was educated in Norfolk Public Schools. She was employed with Peter Decker Law Firm for 30 years. She retired from the government after 10 years of employment. She leaves to cherish her memory 4 children, Jonita Wiggins (Henry Wiggins), Kenneth Parker (Margot Parker ), Floyd Tharp (Tracey Davis) and Shenia Tharp (Bryant Dildy). She had 7 siblings, Soloman Parker “deceased” (Helen Parker), Ronald Parker, Clifton Parker, Brenda Spady (Horace Spady), Diane Parker, Johnetta Smith all of Norfolk and Geraldine McDowell (Clarence, Sr.) of Hartford Connecticut; 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
