Jaylon Javon Leary

On July 16, 2004, Deidre and José became the proud parents of a handsome son Jaylon Javon Leary, Jaylon departed this life on September 3, 2018. He was loved and known by many. Jaylon was a charming bright young man, maintain good grades
in school. Jaylon was known for his calm laid back personality and sneaky grin which could light up a room at the same time. He was to be a rising Freshman at Maury High School, after leaving Azalea Garden Middle School.

Jaylon was caring and compassionate mixed with a bit of a jokester. He loved to play around and photo bomb everyone’s
pictures. Jaylon loved sports, wrestling, football and basketball. He favorite football team was the Detroit Lions. He had really grown fond of basketball and wanted to try out for Maury’s team. He was so excited. Jaylon enjoyed life, ready to live it to the fullest. He especially loved his sisters and family, he would steal a kiss every chance he got.

Jaylon was very close to his sister Dejana, he enjoyed spending time with her and his cousins and brothers, Lil Allen and TaShawn. Where you saw one, you were guaranteed to see the other. The were almost inseparable. He like to play with his PS
2 if he was not on the court playing basketball or on his electric skateboard. Jaylon was predeceased by his sister, De’Jana Leary; his great grandmother, Lillian Hawkins and aunt, Barbrella Scruggs. He leaves to cherish his charming love and good times, his mother, Deidra D. Graham; his father, José J. Leary (Lindora); 3 sisters, Anaya Leary, Imani Leary Lailah Leary; brother, Javon Pope; grandmothers, Tracey Leary, Salina Graham, Lynette Gilliam; grandfathers, Kenneth Graham and Melvin Phillips; 1 nephew, Amal Stokes; aunts, Doris Thomas, Joy Hawkins (James), Gloria Green (William), Jada, Tovah, Lillian, Tanisha, Kim, Shawna Gilchrist and Carsietta Burke; uncles, James, Roosevelt, Mark, Lil Carl, Noel, Waverly Sr., William and George Sr.; 13 cousins, Deon’tay, Jamiyah, Taylor, Isaiah, Tashaun, Lil Allen, Alana, Kierra, Jamya, Jerret and Bella, Jasiah, Lillian Rose, Ale`za, I’Asia, Kenya, Jade, Mason, Jamie and a host of family and friends.

    Dear Leary Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in Gods word. Revelations 21:4 assured us that there will be a resurrection right here on earth(Psalms 37:29)
