On May 11, 2019 our beloved son, brother, dad, uncle and friend Jarmel Perkins transitioned to his Heavenly Home. Jarmel affectionately know as “Brasko” was the youngest of four siblings. Jarmel was born in Norfolk, Virginia and attended Norfolk Public School before moving to Chesapeake, Virginia where he attended Oscar Smith High School. Jarmel had a passion for music and loved crabbing. He started his own lawn care business. “Brasko” had a heart of a lion. Jarmel was the baby of the family and was spoiled rotten by his parents. “Brasko” was so fun to be around and loved to joke. He loved everyone with whom he came in contact. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ella Basnight and Mary & Elmer Chesson; great grandparents, Catherine & Benjamin Bynum. “Brasko” leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Deborah Perkins; father, Thomas Chesson; two children, Juniary and Jucarey Wilson; one stepchild, Jahjai “Poohed” Riddick; two sisters, Kesha Wilson
(Marlon) and Latonya Barron Spence (Javon); two brothers, Bobby Ray Harrell (Melissa) and Thomas Chesson Jr.; a special aunt, Tammy Bynum Whitley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

May 26, 2019 at 6:28 amI am truly sorry for your loss, what really comforted me in my time of loss is the scripture@ Revelation 21:3&4 . Which gives us the wonderful promise of God wiping out every tear from our eyes and death being no more. I hope this promise from Jehovah will truly bring your family much comfort at this time.
