Sunset: May 24, 2020

“When deepest sorrow comes to us and someone we love is gone may we be blessed with the courage and strength to continue to carry on.”

On Sunday, May 24, 2020, GOD called our Little Angel, Jariyah Monae McPherson home to be with him in Heaven.  Jariyah was a very happy baby always smiling with eyes that brightened up a room.  Jariyah had plenty nick names such as “Riyah Pooh”, “Big Red”, “Tater Tot”, “Tweet Tweet” as her Granddad would call her and “Bubbles” as her Grandma called her.  Jariyah loved “Sesame Street Elmo”.  When she watched Elmo you couldn’t get her attention.  She would be all smiles sitting in her walker.  Jariyah loved to hear her mom sing to her.  She  would laugh and bounce up and down with joy. Jariyah was loved by everyone who knew her.  She will be truly missed by many.

Jariyah Monae was preceded in death by two Great Grandmothers,  two Great Grandfathers and a Great Uncle.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Daishara Robin McPherson, her father Anthony Futrell, her grandmothers, Prentiss McPherson, Sharon McPherson, her grandfather Tyrone McPherson, great aunt Mary Thomas, special aunt Fashara Epps, Eight uncles and a host of many other relatives and friends.
