We could have not asked for a better father-in-law in all of Portsmouth, VA for our son. He showed his great love for family when he was blessed with his grandson. We shall miss him and his wisdom.
Joyce, Shawn, Hope and Carol you are in our prayers and thoughts.

My prayers and condolences are extended to you, Joyce and the family. I am just seeing this notification as our I.C. Norcom High School memories pour through my mind. Both you and James were kind Christian youth. My developmental professional adult years were spent in New York City which delineated our societal interpersonal communications. May you always experience peaceful inspirations knowing that James’ heavenly arrival celebration will eternally await us all, “When We All Get To Heaven”! Dr. Dr. J. Leon Knight

I just heard of James’ passing today. I am so very sorry for the loss. James and Joyce were very special people in our lives. My son, Craig Langaster, was the ring bearer in their wedding and I worked for years in Portsmouth with Joyce. I pray that God will bless and and comfort Joyce, Hope, Haroleen, the grandchildren, and family members. James was such a warm and friendly spirit and will be greatly missed.
