James Monroe Carr, Jr. was born January 5, 1971 in Norfolk Virginia to James Monroe Carr, Sr. and Alice Diane Carr-Cyrus he was called to rest by his heavenly father on March 11, 2019.
James was educated through The Norfolk Public School System and self employed as an independent contractor. heis survived by his wife, Deborah A. Carr and in their marriage a step daughter, Star and granddaughter, Mi’Yani that he loved as if they were his own.
James was a devoted Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers fan. You can measure the success of his life by the number of people he touched and who loved him. James was a great influence to many people he enjoyed being a barber, a huge animal lover, down-to-earth, comical and a very caring person. James and Sean had a very unique brotherly bond they were best friends and shared many memories that Sean will never forget.
He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Sean (Michelle) Carr; two step sisters, Stephanie and Candace; two step-brothers, Donald and Anthony; sister-in-law, Courtney (Christopher) Moore; brother-in-law, Charlie Lawrence III and A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
