James Lee Watson

James “Stimmie Wolf” Watson answered the Lord on September 06, 2022 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Zenora Marie Watson Sparrow and Howard Lee Watson. Also, a son Kareem Smith; one sister, Stephanie M. Watson and 1 brother, Robert Lee Watson.

Stimmie was an Army Veteran in the Vietnam War. He worked at Lone Star (Tarmac) and Branson Cement Company for several years. His passion was working on cars.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Janet Watson and a special friend Pamela Simmons. He also leaves three daughters; Nekita Gilland, Ciara Watson, and Jhadikah Simmons; three sons; Jermaine Smith, Craig Watson, and Jamar Simmons; four sisters Gladys Ricks of Fayetteville, NC, Karen Moore (Jay), Marian W. Barrow (Douglas) of Chesapeake, VA, and Doris Harris (Tyrone) of Ocala, FL; one brother from another mother Jonathan Davis, two Uncle Melvin Whitaker of Chesapeake, VA and John Rutledge (Stephanie) of New York; , Beverly Bruce of Chesapeake, VA, and Shirley Blunt of Hampton, VA. Stimmie had a host of grandchildren and great-grands and also a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

    I pray that the grace of God will cover us as a family. Uncle Stimmie has been called home a appointment we can not reschedule . We just have to trust and lean on him for the peace as only he can give.
