As Spooky got older he share some of his what he call his life time experience of the good old days with his nieces and nephews.

Cherish his memories are his wife Sue Mae Waffe of Portsmouth, Virginia for 52 years. Spooky also leave to cherish his memories of those good old days with, his older sister Barbara Lee Lassiter (Irvin), Vincent Skinner (Willie Mae) of Norfolk, Virginia, Shirley Fleming of Portsmouth, Virginia, Charlene Hall and Deloris Tillery, and adopted Brother Rev. Thinking back in the day, Spooky was one of the best dressers in Downtown Norfolk, and was known for sharing wisdom amongst his family and friends that read like a book. He will surely be missed just thinking about all of jokes, smile, and most of all his wisdom.
