Isis N. Tutankhamen

Sunrise: September 7, 1954

Sunset: May 30, 2021

On May 30, 2021 GOD called our beloved Theatta Scott, aka ” Isis Tutankhamen ” home. She was born to the late Henry T. and Gracie W. Scott on September 7, 1954.

Theatta was a graduate of John Yeates Highschool and later furthered her studies at Tidewater Community College and Norfolk State University, majoring in the Library Sciences.

Theatta was employed for 16 years at T.J. Maxx stores and loved by all of her coworkers.

As a former member of the Black Vanguard community-based organization, Isis volunteered her time, participating in the ” Meals on Wheels ” program, distributing to the elderly, disabled and the homeless.

“Aunt T.” was always a “free-spirt” and our Angel that only flewby in our lifetimes and we are truly fortunate to have had her land on our shoulders…

Isis is survived by Eunice Hall, Ricky Scott, (Theodore Scott, Twin) Gralin Scott and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Aunt T. was predeceased by siblings George Banks, Herbert Porter, Eula Neal, Edith Eason, Bernard Scott, Rudolph Scott, and Janet Eley.

Our beloved “Queen Isis” has definitely earned her heavenly wings…She will be truly missed, but never, ever forgotten…

” GOD has prepared my mansion and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever…

I am saddened to see the passing of Sister Isis. We called her ‘Tee’ back, way back in the day when she was with the black power movement, what we know today, as the Movement for Black Lives. Sister Isis was active back in the 70s and beyond. One of the sweetest persons you’d ever meet. Rest In Glory Sweet Sister!
