Nobody has ever measured, even poets, how much a heart can hold, love and comforted like sunshine after the rain. Love is a healer of broken hearts that long to be made whole. Love is a lighthouse beacon that brings lost souls back to shore. Love is the guide that’s directing our footsteps through the forest of pain and sorrow. Love is the answer to the question we’re all asking; why? And, love will be the fulfillment of our every need.
Early Wednesday morning, God saw that our loved one was in distress and he needed to call him home. Irvin Nathaniel Scott’s sunrise was October 29, 1959. His sunset was granted on April 8, 2020. He was the youngest son of the late Clarence F. Scott, Sr. and Vivian Tuck Scott. Irvin was a jolly person who loved his family and family gatherings.
Irvin leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Clarence F. Scott, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia; three sisters, Shelia Scott of Indiana, Debbie Scott of Norfolk, Virginia and Linda Smith (Johnnie) of Chesapeake, Virginia; three aunts, Virginia Marner-Sawyer, Barbara Scott , Lillian Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Irvin’s exodus into a better place leaves a void in our hearts, yet, we know he’s with the King and if we but live right, we’ll see him again.

We all loved Irvin, but God loved and needed him more. We all have beautiful memories of him that will last a lifetime. Irvin is dancing and rejoicing in heaven like only he can.
Weeping may endure for a night But JOY will cometh in the morning
Love you all and we will get thru this together!!!
