On Friday, June 5, 2020 God called his precious child, India Settles “Annette” to come home. Born December 25, 1961 to the late Glossie Powell and Johnnie Powell. She is survived by her husband, Clarence L. Settles and very special friend, Richard Spencer; daughter, India Skinner; son-in-law, Shelton Skinner; grandchildren, Sparkle Settles and Makai Skinner; sisters, Linda Miller and Debra Tyndall; brothers, Johnnie Powell, Jr., Darryl Powell, Kenneth Powell and Curtis Powell; three sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, devoted cousins, friends near and far and neighbors who are like family.
India was a loving and outspoken person. She loved her family unconditionally and would go above and beyond. Her smile would light up the room and you could hear her yelling your name miles away. She loved to just take a ride and get some fresh air just to hang out with her daughter. She will truly be missed
