She was united in holy matrimony to William Thomas Smith, with whom she shared a long and devoted union. Together, they built a home filled with love, respect, and unwavering commitment. From that union came five children: William Thomas Smith Jr. (who preceded her in death), Barbara Ann Smith, Gregory Keith Smith, Belinda Smith, and Frank Christopher Smith.
Ida Mae’s love extended deeply to her grandchildren, who brought her boundless pride and joy. She was the grandmother of Donald Preston (married to Ada Preston), Sean and Wayne, Justin Keith Smith, Gregory Keith Smith Jr., Kimberly Smith, Brandon Smith, and David, son of William, Jr.
