May 29, 2020 at 5:01 pmAs a youth growing up here in Norfolk, Virginia, Bro. Dr. H. M. Richard was one of the many Alpha men who were Father-Figures in my life. Because of him, I was able to attend and graduate from his alma mater(Southern University) and become a member of his Fraternity/Chapter(Alpha Phi Alpha/Beta Sigma chapter). I thank the Lord/Savior Christ JESUS for placing you in my life when I needed it the most at an early age. May you now and always, from this day forward, rest in Heaven and Peace, as you have graciously made your transition to Alpha’s esteemed Omega chapter. You will certainly be missed.

May 31, 2020 at 10:17 amDr. Richard was such a kind and thoughtful man. A wonderful conversationalist for sure and a wealth of information. Dr. Richard was just special in every way and always shared his knowledge and worth ethic on things that really matter. He will be missed by all and the Norfolk City Democratic Committee has lost a true warrior/servant for the cause.
