Howard Lee Hill, 73, also known as “Cap” to his friends, was born in Norfolk, VA on August 9, 1951, to the late Octavia Hill and Robert R. Hill, was called home on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA.
Howard served in the United States Army for three years (Vietnam) and retired from Hampton Roads Transit. He was an old soul who loved good music, fishing, talking about politics, and playing cards.
Howard leaves behind his children, Nickcole and Howard Foust, grandchildren, Tykiene Tillman, Zachery Whitfield, and Ambre Foust; his sisters, Catherine, Barbara Jean (predeceased), Veronica Hill, Carolyn Bates, Ann Smith (predeceased), and Marion Boose (predeceased), brothers, Robert (Maryland), Glenn (Linda), and Allen Hill (predeceased), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
