My sincere condolences goes our to Willie Mae and the family of Hosea Scott.

I met Hosea while working at Norfolk State University in Athletics. He used to come by all the time to get football and basketball tickets. He would joke with then Athletics Director, Dick Price, about not wanting him to get his tickets, but only me. He would talk trash with Coach Price, but he and his fellows respected him and supported him. They would follow Norfolk State wherever they played away from home. That’s the kind of love and support they had for our programs.

He will be missed. But God had a better plan for him. No more pain and suffering. Rest in peace my friend.

My condolence to the Scott family from the Smith’s. We are neighbors of the Scott’s and we are going to miss seeing Mr. Hosea just riding around in the neighborhood waving and talking to the neighbors.
Every time our dog would get out of the fence Mr. Hosea would let us know that she’s in his yard. He was such a nice and caring person.
