Hilda D. Perry, also known as “Lois”, was called home on Saturday, May 29, 2021, to be with the Lord.
Hilda was born, February 10, 1952 in South Norfolk, Virginia to the late LaSalle and Viola Owens.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, LaSalle, Jr. and Willie Owens; two sisters, Elizabeth Jones and Betty Whitehead; her children’s father Arthur Perry and beautiful daughter, Dominique Owens. She is also preceded in death by her “Best Friend”, Eleanor Spence.
“Lois” went to Norfolk Public Schools; she worked and made a good life for her children. She enjoyed Crabbing, Fishing, Bingo and Cooking.
“Lois” leaves to cherish her memory, her three lovely children, Kenny Perry (Felicia), Eric Perry and Monique Jennings (Clifford); four sisters, Doris Jones, Barbara Gordon, Beatrice Knox and Annette Davis (Matthew); three brothers, Joseph Owens, Alphonso Owens, and William Owens (Ella); one aunt, Annie Banks. “Lois” also leaves to cherish her memory, seven grandchildren, Sean Stewart (Tameka), Kierra Wilkins, Kenisha Perry, Clifford, Jr., Ahmad, Unique, Ja’Hive and Jayce; two great grandchildren, Elijah and Nala; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friends, Tracy, Audrey and Kimberly; one sister-in-law, Joyce Beale and one brother-in-law, James Perry.
“Lois” will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
