    My dear uncle,
You were my cool, calm, and collective man. No one else text me back hey girlfriend but you and it comes from real love. You were truly one of a kind. You are deeply missed. From you I learn when others say you can’t, you show them wrong and DO! You told me that when I graduated and you were right. Love you with my heart and you know I will look out for those two ladybugs anyway I can.

    Your girlfriend,
    Whitney Clark ❤️

My heart dropped when I heard the news. Deacon Herbert, you will truly be missed. Each time I saw you, you always asked about the kids and I greatly appreciated that fully. Over the years of even telling me from time to time, “you keep doing a good job with them kids”, again I greatly appreciate that fully. Such a humble man just like your uncle, cool, calm and collected. Thank you for being just that as a reflection of your dad. May you rest in the clouds of heaven in peace.

    Always to the sky,
    Rebecca (lil sis powell)

To my uncle Dooley that’s what we call you didn’t really get to spend a lot of times together but when you always saw me it’s with a warm smile and gentle hug and like Whitney said, a very calmness in your spirit. Gonna miss you enjoy your flight to heaven!

    Stephanie Clark (your babygirl) says

    Well Daddy,

It has been 3 1/2 years since you made your departure. Since that time, Aunt Bobbie joined you and now Uncle Paul. Uncle Paul was literally your right hand man and sometimes your left hand too. You are now reunited and I know it was a powerful reunion. Show him around Paradise Daddy. I love you both.
