Dear family, I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your wife, mom, sister, or niece, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one and the grief associated with it. What has helped me to cope with the loss is the promise in the Bible of a resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28,29) and that those resurrected love ones will never again contend with sickness, pain, or death (Revelation 21:4). I pray this brings you some comfort in the hours, days, and months ahead.

“So we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord— for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:6-8)

Thank you for sharing Heather with us. She brought joy and laughter to her gaming community. Please accept my deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
