Harriett Sanderlin

Tuesday morning, August 14, 2018 our beloved mother and grandmother, Harriett Sanderlin, was called home to be with the Lord. Born December 9, 1946 in Princess Anne County, Virginia Beach to the late Stancil and Cora Williams. She attended Norfolk Public School and was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God. She worked for Union Brick Construction as a bricklayer until she retired.

Harriett Sanderlin was preceded in death by her husband, William Sanderlin, grandson, Gregory Uzzle, 4 brothers, Stancil, James, Noble, and Maurice Williams. She is survived by 2 daughters, Laura Short(James) and Wilhemina Crumity(Curtis); 2 sisters, Marilyn Myer(Alphonso) and Thelma Cross; 1 brother Ivory Williams( Rosemary), 2 aunts, Mable Gardner and josephine Whaff; 8 grandchildren, LaVerna Uzzle, Anderson Sanderlin (Shenita), Dominique Sanderlin, Gregory Lamb II(Brandy), James Lamb, Shawnta Lamb( Shamece), Stefaine Mason, and Charles mason; 21 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves to cherish 3 special friends, Bernice Little, Mattie Coston, and Virginia Beddell. Mrs. Sanderlin loved her family , grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
