Gregory Milo McDuffie, son of the late James H. and Magdalene McDuffie, quietly departed this life after a long illness on December 24, 2018, at Norton Medical Center, Louisville, KY.
Milo was born on October 7, 1957, in Portsmouth, VA, and educated in the Portsmouth Public School System. A self-employed painter, he spent his early adult years in Portsmouth then relocated to Piscataway, NJ, and later returned to Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents James H. McDuffie (father) and Magdalene McDuffie (mother). He leaves to cherish two brothers, James R. McDuffie, Piscataway, NJ, and Carl L. McDuffie, Portsmouth, VA; two sisters, Joyce L. Styles (Harry), Port Orange, FL, and Belvia D. McDuffie, Chesapeake, VA; one niece, Yvette Royster, Virginia Beach, VA; two nephews, Brandon McDuffie, Wisconsin, and Jerrod E. McDuffie Chesapeake, VA; a great nephew, Kemett McDuffie, Yorktown, VA; two uncles, James “Nab” Ellison, Newark, NJ, and Joseph “Joe” (Gail) Bess, Chesapeake, VA; seven aunts, Margaret McDuffie, Martinsville, VA, Catherine Smith and Nan Jackson, Portsmouth, VA, Vernell Fox, Piscataway, NJ, Annie Bess, Orange, NJ, Betty Bess, Robersonville, NC, and Jessica McDuffie, New Rochelle, NY; and a host of cousins and loved ones.
