Sunset: December 17, 2023

Godfrey Junior Davidson was born August 16, 1994, in the Broward County area in Florida to the parents of Godfrey Davidson and Ann Hibbert. Godfrey leaves behind his 7 year old daughter Kimora; two sisters, Audreyann and Kerryann; brother, Geoffrey; one nephew, one niece, uncles, aunts, cousins, his partner Destiny; Jae (Kimora’s mother), and many friends.

From when Godfrey was a small child he was always quiet, shy, and enjoyed watching Barney and among other cartoons, and would visit family in Jamaica. When Godfrey was 5 years old, he moved to Virginia with his parents and sister. Godfrey would go fishing, and take frequent trips to New York with his parents and uncle. Godfrey took up drawing, and then grew to love the art of music. Godfrey would still be shy, but when it came to music and being around his friends, you couldn’t tell he was. Godfrey became old enough to work, and would work at a few places where he would display his work ethics that was installed in him from his parents.

Godfrey became a father and loved his daughter Kimora so much. He wanted to give her the world, and wanted nothing but the best for her. Everyone who knows him knew how much he loved his daughter, and what his goals were for the both of them. Godfrey would go on little walks with his daughter from when she was a baby to most recently.

Godfrey had a caring generous heart, and wanted to help everyone who needed it, whether it was funds, clothes, a ride, to talk, or just being there for you. Everyone who met Godfrey would like and love him, and they all would say he’s a cool dude and has a great spirit. Godfrey was a motivator with his words and actions, and would grow into a wise dedicated humble loving and hardworking 29 year old. Godfrey will forever be missed and loved by his daughter, his family, his friends, and his co-workers. Godfrey will forever hold a special place in our hearts and in our minds. Godfrey left his footprint, music, pictures, words, and a beautiful daughter to always remember him by. Godfrey’s name will forever live on and be celebrated.

Until we meet again Godfrey, please watch over us, smile, laugh, make music, and rest easy. We got Kimora and will always protect her. We love you and miss you.

Godfrey, In the short time of working with you , it has been a pleasure. We weren’t even in the same department but you always spoke . Going to miss you passing through the lobby looking at your watch and telling me I’m almost there to clock out time , or asking me if I was having fun yet , knowing I wasn’t and that I was ready to go home. You made me laugh every time. My heart breaks for your family and loved ones , in our short encounters, I know just by your vibe you were an amazing individual. Rest in paradise.
