In the early morning of Monday, December 30, 2024, our dearly beloved mother, sister, and aunt, Gloria Davis Bullock, answered the Voice Of God that called her from her earthly home.
Gloria graduated from Booker T. Washington in 1958 and studied accounting at Norfolk State University for two years. She then worked for 29 years at The Norfolk Teachers Association Federal Credit Union as a Bank Manager before retiring. Gloria’s extracurricular activities consisted of participating in the New Calvary Mass Choir and New Calvary’s Chorale Choir, in the early 1990s. Also, she was a participant in the I. Sherman Greene Voices of Norfolk, VA, and lastly, in the late 1990s into the early 2000s, she was a member of the B.T.W. Alumni Choir.
Gloria was preceded by her husband, Daniel Bullock, Sr., and three brothers and three sisters. Gloria Bullock leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children, her son Darryl Davis (Shirley), and her daughter Kina Davis, her dear sister, Iris D. Paige (Richard IV), and a host of nieces/nephews, and other loved family members.

To Kina, Darryl and Iris,
Gloria and I grew up together as children in the same community.
She was a wonderful person and will always be remembered for the sweetness in her voice and the smile in her eyes. May the Lord bless each of you and give you peace, and know that she is at rest!

January 12, 2025 at 7:29 amI offer my deepest condolences to you, Tina and Darryl, as you mourn your loss, yet celebrate and give thanks for the life of your beloved Mother.
Gloria and I grew up in the same community, attended the same schools (graduated in the same class).
Gloria was a very sweet and kind person whose engaging smile, “twinkling” eyes, “lady-like” persona and beautiful soprano voice endeared her to us all.
May you all find comfort in sweet memories and the knowledge that she is resting in the arms of our Savior 🙏🏽💕

January 15, 2025 at 11:58 amSo sorry to hear of the passing of Gloria. I remember her and her husband and I seemed to show up in the parking lot at church (New Calvary Baptist ) and always talked and walked together. She was a lovely woman. God will give you the strength to get through this time of sorrow. Please keep her memories close to your heart as I will. God will take care of you !

February 28, 2025 at 4:06 pmDarrly, Kina, Iris, family and friends; Ms. Gloria was a close and dear friend to my mother (Margie). Though they didn’t talk often when we (children) were teenagers, but when they did, their conversation would pick up where they left off and didn’t miss a beat.
Ms. Gloria brought life, a beautiful smile and love into spaces she inhabited. She was also talented with that beautiful voice of hers. Ms. Gloria will truly be missed.
Wishing you peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. My condolences.
